Since you’ve come to this section, you must want to get acquainted! So, as you’ve already realised, we are real twin brothers – beekeepers. We love people and bees, and we adore the products that bees produce: honey and other natural wonders. Although we love beekeeping, we spend a lot of time creating a good mood, making our customers happy and telling stories about bees, both online and in our apiary. We are very happy that we are making the Brothers’ Honey story together.

I'm Ignas
I am a beehive hen, a packer of loving parcels, an inventor and, of course, an advertising face. What makes this job fascinating for me is that I can not only beekeep and admire nature, but also make people happy. It is indeed an indescribable feeling when you get a thank you not only for the parcel, but for all the positive emotions and good mood you create. It is priceless! And anyway, if it comes to it, I would be happy to leave the bees for Willis for a week and go to the Dakar Rally to “sneak in”.
I'm Vilius
I’m the one who usually answers your calls, comments and messages. Well, what the hell, After becoming a beekeeper, I had to learn to be a cameraman, a photographer, a writer and a speaker, and as a speakerand even a bit of an artist. How can you not admire this kind of work! Well, if you follow us on social media, you must have noticed that I love to cook and entertaining people.
A little history
And that's where it all started
Restoree my grandfather’s old beehive and the first bee we caught a swarme just off the branch. Whether it was from youth or childhood, we cannot say now. Soon we had two more hives populated with wild bees. And so naturally began an everlasting love of bees and beekeeping.

By the time we graduated from secondary school, we already had 14 bee colonies. We were still giving honey.
21 to 28
We didn’t expand much as students, with just a few families. There was a great lack of knowledge.
Between 60 and 130 families
Vilius went to Norway to learn more. When he returned, he added 30 more colonies to his apiary. We started to grow.

Today, more than 25 million bees are our most loyal workers, carrying the sweetest nectar and creating the most beautiful story of the Brothers Honey family business.

Farm of the Year 2020 Award
The Farm of the Year 2020 award is very symbolic for us - it crowns the results of many years of beekeeping and aptly reflects the patient work, efforts and hearts we have put in.
We are honoured to have been recognised "for our contribution to the development of the country's beekeeping and the work we undertake with sincere dedication and love" in the national competition, which has as its guiding principle the recognition of those who have made the most progress in the development of the economy in recent years.
The first phase of the competition was organised in municipalities. The Kupiškis branch of the Lithuanian Farmers' Union announced the winners of the "Farm of the Year 2020" competition in the district in mid-July 2020.
After a short wait, on 6 July 2021, we were awarded a certificate of appreciation from the Mayor of Kupiškis district "for promoting the Kupiškis region by developing beekeeping traditions and meaningful educational activities", and on 15 July 2021 - the main award of the competition "Farm of the Year 2020".

At last, GOLD! And who would have thought that such a success for our brand "Brothers Honey" would come from "Brothers Bears"! The fruit juice and honey gummies, which saw the light of day in May 2022, instantly became favourites among honey lovers, and the Bearded Bears. On 7 October, during the exhibition "Rinkis prekę lietuvišką' 2022″, they were recognised as worthy of gold in the category of food industry products!
To be honest, my brother and I were both sceptical about the idea of Brothers Bears from the very beginning. With supermarket shelves bursting with all sorts of flavours and the most elaborately shaped gummies, it's unlikely that we'll be able to entice shoppers with yet another product in the same category. However, we decided to take the risk and now we can drink champagne to the health of Brothers Bears.
The traditional exhibition was organised by AB "Ekspozicijų centras" together with the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the Association of Industrialists and Employers of Kaunas Region. The products worthy of gold medals or diplomas were selected by competent commissions in a pre-announced competition for the exhibition "Choose a Lithuanian Product 2022".
The aim of the exhibition is to present products and services produced in Lithuania, to promote the consumption of Lithuanian products, to strengthen cooperation between the country's manufacturers and suppliers of services and equipment relevant to them. This year's event was a record-breaker due to the number of exhibitors: more than 260 brand developers took part in the exhibition.

Nomination "Future of the Year"
It's nice to be appreciated! 2 December 2022 During the Annual Assembly organised by the Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (PPAR), we were twice recognised among the best performing companies and businesses in 2022 - we were awarded the prize for significant exports and the nomination "Future of the Year".
The honourable "Lithuanian Export Prize" was awarded to Brolių Medus for its successful representation of Lithuania at the World Expo in Dubai and for more than doubling its export volumes in 2022.
Panevėžys PPAR's nomination "Future of the Year", which is awarded to a person, team or organisation of the younger generation who, with their talent, determination and achievements, are creating the future Lithuania, is no less significant for Brothers' Med.
Currently, Panevėžys PPAR has more than 300 members. "Brothers Honey became part of the organisation ? year.

Broliai Bears gummies evaluated in Scandinavia
Lietuviško prekinio ženklo „Brolių medus“ vaisių sulčių guminukai su medumi „Broliai lokiai“ sulaukė pripažinimo ir įvertinimo ne tik Lietuvoje, bet ir užsienyje. 2023 metų lapkričio 15–16 dienomis Malmės mieste, Švedijoje, vykusioje parodoje ,,Nordic Organic Food Fair & Eco Living Scandinavia“, draugiškai rankomis susikibę meškinai buvo pastebėti iš karto – jų paragauti veržėsi lankytojų būriai. O paskelbus parodos dalyvių balsavimo rezultatus, tapo aišku, kad „Broliai lokiai“ užkariavo skandinavų širdis ir buvo pripažinti geriausio naujo užkandžio kategorijos finalistais.

This year, the product of the Lithuanian brand "Bros' honey", which is only in its second year of existence, has already been recognised and appreciated twice at exhibitions.
Initially, honey flavoured gummies were offered in compact 100 g packs to meet customer demand and market standards. It soon became clear that customers were not satisfied with a single package of a healthy snack, so Brother bears were offered in larger containers - 250 g and 500 g jars - which are easy to screw open at any time, and easy to store and transport.
"So which one do you chew now: brother Ignas or brother Vilius, do you know?", the authors of the product, twin brothers Ignas and Vilius Jackevičius, intrigue the buyers of the gum.

Fruit juice gum "Broliai lokiai" - "Lithuanian Product of the Year 2024"
Fruit juice gummies "Bros' Bears" with honey continue their success story. On 11 December 2024, our product was awarded a gold medal at the annual Lithuanian Product of the Year Awards organised by the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK). Nearly 100 applications were submitted for this year's competition. "Brother bears" gummies are among the winners.
This is the second gold medal won by these rubber bands. On 7 October 2022, during the exhibition "Rinkis prekę lietuvišką' 2022″, Broliai lokiai fruit juice gummies were also among the leaders in the category of food industry products. It is currently our best-selling product in the honey treats category and is particularly popular with children.
The initial idea was to create healthy, easy-to-chew, bright fruit-flavoured gummies with natural honey. They soon became very popular with visitors to the „Bros´ Honey“ e-shop, and after a while supermarkets, chains and other family-run businesses took an interest. So the small story of the "Brothers Bears" gummies became a big one - worth its weight in gold.
The main objective of the Lithuanian Product of the Year competition is to increase the competitiveness of high quality Lithuanian products, to present and promote the country's industrial production, goods and services to local or international consumers, encouraging them to choose a quality Lithuanian product, thus developing Lithuanian business development.
We are sincerely grateful to LPK for the recognition, to our partners for the growth of our business, and of course to you, our inspiration, supporters and customers. We are away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but not from the people. We are making our story - „Bros´ Honey“ - together.

„Brothers“ Honey product appreciated in Scandinavia: two out of five significant awards come to Lithuania
Lietuviško šeimos prekinio ženklo „Brolių medaus“ produktas pelnė išskirtinį Skandinavijos pripažinimą. Lapkričio 19–20 dienomis bitininkai Ignas ir Vilius Jackevičiai tarptautinėje parodoje „The Nordic’s Leading Trade for Natural Products“, vykusioje Malmės mieste (Švedijoje), pristatė užkandį – pienišką medaus batonėlį „Brolių bitė ir avietė“.
The product, which was launched in October 2025 in the Lithuanian market, won two awards out of five at the prestigious exhibition, impressing the jury with its innovative solution and the visitors with its naturally mild and distinctive taste.
Parodoje „The Nordic’s Leading Trade for Natural Products“ buvo įsteigtos penkios nominacijos sveikatos, grožio, maisto ir gėrimų kategorijose bei daugiausiai parodos lankytojų simpatijų pelniusio produkto apdovanojimas, kuris šiemet atiteko būtent „Brolių bitei ir avietei“.
This bar quickly became the discovery of the year. It’s fascinatingly simple: just a few ingredients – two teaspoons of honey, about one and a half glasses of milk, a little cream and a handful of raspberries. According to the developers, it is the natural composition and transparency that set this product apart from the plethora of glazed, sweetener-laden snacks. The technological part of the product’s development was carried out by the Biordico team and Dr Jonas Damašius.
